Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate complex calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling travel arrangements for executive leadership.
- Compose, proofread, and distribute professional emails, memos, and correspondence to ensure clear communication.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date office records, including filing systems and data entry tasks.
- Answer and screen incoming calls, redirecting inquiries to the appropriate personnel while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Prepare internal reports and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Act as the primary point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and organized environment.
- Assist with general office management tasks, including inventory management and vendor coordination.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar office support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and availability for occasional onsite requirements in Detroit.
