Responsibilities
- Architect and implement strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026 innovation horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI-driven automation and quantum computing applications
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies including neuromorphic computing and bio-integrated systems
- Develop patentable solutions for next-gen human-machine interfaces and spatial computing
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological readiness and adoption cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry white papers
- Experience securing federal grants for advanced research initiatives
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and systems modeling tools
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
