Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year strategic innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 technological and societal projections
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-focused initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Create scenario-planning models for market evolution and competitive landscape shifts
- Mentor senior leadership in future-thinking methodologies
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and trend analysis
- Proven track record of implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional data literacy with experience in predictive modeling
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-proofing initiatives
