Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Vision: Lead the creation and execution of a long-term technology strategy, identifying key trends in AI, Edge Computing, and Hybrid Cloud environments to ensure our platform dominance by 2026.
- Emerging Tech Evaluation: Conduct rigorous feasibility studies and PoCs (Proof of Concepts) for next-generation technologies, determining their viability for integration into our core stack.
- Architectural Design: Design robust, scalable, and secure system architectures that support future growth, specifically focusing on interoperability and migration paths for legacy systems.
- Future-Proof Governance: Establish technical governance frameworks and coding standards that anticipate the regulatory and security challenges of the mid-2020s.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and C-suite executives to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Talent Development: Mentor senior engineering teams and foster a culture of innovation, ensuring the workforce is skilled in 2026-era technologies.
- Vendor & Partnership Strategy: Evaluate and manage partnerships with technology providers to secure cutting-edge tools and frameworks relevant to the 2026 market.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering, System Architecture, or Enterprise IT leadership, with at least 3 years in a strategic planning or architecture role.
- Tech Stack: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and microservices architecture.
- Future-Forward Mindset: Proven track record of identifying and implementing emerging technologies (e.g., Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, IoT ecosystems) ahead of the curve.
- Leadership: Strong ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at the executive level without direct authority.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable technical strategies.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
