We are seeking a visionary Senior Technical Project Manager to join the LA2026 Organizing Committee. Responsibilities
- Oversee the full project lifecycle for critical digital infrastructure initiatives, from concept to execution.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, designers, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with LA2026’s strategic vision.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
- Facilitate high-level stakeholder communication, providing clear insights into project status and strategic milestones.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks before they impact the delivery schedule.
- Ensure all deliverables adhere to the highest standards of accessibility, security, and performance.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in technical project management or program management, preferably within large-scale events, government, or technology sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects with budgets exceeding $5M.
- Strong proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
- PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural environments is a plus.
