Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting site performance and crawlability.
- Collaborate with content teams to optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, and images.
- Monitor and report on SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm updates to ensure our strategies remain effective.
- Lead optimization efforts for mobile responsiveness and site speed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a fast-paced agency or in-house environment.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Algorithms and best practices (e.g., Penguin, Panda, Hummingbird).
- Strong proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with technical SEO, including site architecture, schema markup, and canonicalization.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
