Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive SEO roadmap designed for the search landscape of 2026, including voice search optimization and AI-driven content strategies.
- Technical Mastery: Lead deep-dive technical SEO audits, focusing on Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site architecture to ensure maximum crawlability and indexability.
- Data-Driven Growth: Utilize advanced analytics (GA4, BigQuery) and Python scripting to analyze user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and optimize conversion funnels.
- Content Ecosystem: Collaborate with content teams to build topical authority and implement E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) frameworks.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor movements, and emerging search technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior SEO analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Design, Product) to implement SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven success in SEO, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and Google Search Console. Experience with coding (Python, JavaScript) is highly preferred.
- Analytics: Deep understanding of web analytics, A/B testing, and attribution modeling.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, English, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business value for stakeholders.
- Forward-Thinking: A passion for staying ahead of industry trends, specifically regarding AI's impact on search.
