Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement complex, scalable front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring maintainability and performance.
- State Management: Lead the implementation of advanced state management strategies (Redux, Zustand, or Context API) to handle large-scale data flow.
- Performance Optimization: Conduct rigorous performance audits, optimize bundle sizes, and ensure 60fps animations on all interactive elements.
- Legacy Migration: Lead the strategic migration of legacy codebases to modern architectures, ensuring zero downtime and backward compatibility.
- Component Library: Create and maintain a robust, accessible UI component library that accelerates development across the engineering team.
- Code Review: Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of code quality and best practices.
- Future-Proofing: Research and prototype emerging technologies (WebGPU, WebAssembly) to stay ahead of industry trends for the 2026 roadmap.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience building user-facing features with React.js, with a strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality production apps.
- Core Skills: Deep understanding of React ecosystem, including Hooks, Context API, Redux Toolkit, and Next.js.
- Frontend Mastery: Proficiency in TypeScript, SCSS/SASS, and modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, CSS Modules).
- Performance: Proven experience optimizing web applications for speed, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA compliance).
- Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development cycles, CI/CD pipelines, and TDD/BDD methodologies.
- Tools: Strong command of version control (Git), design tools (Figma), and debugging tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
