Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols for commercial deployment.
- Optimize quantum circuits for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices to maximize computational efficiency.
- Collaborate with hardware engineering teams to improve qubit coherence and stability.
- Develop high-level quantum programming frameworks and SDKs accessible to enterprise developers.
- Conduct research on quantum algorithms for optimization, machine learning, and cryptography.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the strategic technical roadmap leading to 2026.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing, quantum chemistry, or related emerging technologies.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ with deep experience in quantum libraries (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems theory.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and quantum cloud services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
