Job Description
We are Stellar Dynamics Inc., a premier aerospace technology firm pioneering the next generation of space exploration. As we accelerate toward our 2026 Mars Mission, we are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Architect to lead the development of our proprietary quantum computing infrastructure.
In this high-impact role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical quantum physics and practical, scalable aerospace software. You will be instrumental in solving complex navigation and data processing problems that are currently impossible for classical computers.
If you are a trailblazer ready to leave your mark on human history and shape the future of technology in the 2026 era, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Solutions: Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum algorithms tailored for deep-space navigation and real-time telemetry processing.
- System Integration: Integrate quantum processors with classical aerospace control systems to ensure seamless communication and data handling.
- R&D Leadership: Lead a team of brilliant engineers in exploring new frontiers in quantum error correction and superconducting qubit optimization.
- Prototype Development: Build and test prototypes of quantum communication modules for the 2026 fleet.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with propulsion specialists, mission planners, and data scientists to align quantum capabilities with mission objectives.
- Security Implementation: Develop quantum-resistant encryption protocols to secure sensitive mission data against evolving cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Computing or Quantum Mechanics.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or high-performance computing (HPC).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Qiskit or Cirq.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and their application in real-world engineering scenarios.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
