Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize quantum algorithms to solve real-world, high-complexity problems.
- Translate theoretical quantum mechanics concepts into executable, scalable software solutions.
- Perform rigorous benchmarking and error mitigation on NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Conduct research and publish findings to advance the broader quantum computing community.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure software-hardware co-design.
- Lead technical architectural decisions for our quantum software stack.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on Python and C++.
- Expert proficiency in quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex number arithmetic.
- Experience deploying algorithms on cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, AWS Braket, Google Cirq).
- Proven track record of research, publication, or patent application in quantum information science.
