Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of the 2026 World Cup digital infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the integration of legacy stadium systems with modern IoT and 5G networks.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with FIFA, stadium owners, and technology vendors.
- Ensure all projects adhere to strict timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies for large-scale technical deployments.
- Coordinate with security teams to ensure data privacy and cybersecurity compliance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in project management, specifically within the IT, telecommunications, or large-scale event sectors.
- Proven track record of managing projects with budgets exceeding $10M.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Experience working with major international sporting events or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to C-level executives.
