Responsibilities
- Lead Design Strategy: Own the end-to-end design process for key product features, ensuring they align with business goals and user needs.
- Design Systems: Define, evolve, and maintain our comprehensive design system to ensure consistency and scalability across web and mobile platforms.
- User Research: Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to validate design decisions and drive innovation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering and product management to translate complex requirements into pixel-perfect, high-fidelity prototypes.
- Stakeholder Management: Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively advocating for the user experience and securing buy-in.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a culture of high craftsmanship, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Product Design or Interaction Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of skills.
- Tools: Extensive proficiency in Figma, including advanced prototyping, auto-layout, and design system management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Accessibility: Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and inclusive design principles.
- Agile Mindset: Experience working in agile environments, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs in fast-paced sprints.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex design decisions clearly.
