Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and deploy complex machine learning models, including Large Language Models (LLMs), ensuring high accuracy and low latency.
- System Architecture: Lead the architecture of scalable ML pipelines and data infrastructure using cloud-native technologies.
- Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research, implementing cutting-edge algorithms and contributing to open-source projects.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Provide technical leadership, conduct rigorous code reviews, and mentor junior engineers and data scientists.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize model performance, ensuring real-time inference capabilities.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or applied research.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, with deep knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Cloud: Extensive experience deploying models on AWS, GCP, or Azure using services like SageMaker or Vertex AI.
- Data Engineering: Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop) and data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems with data-driven approaches.
