Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning models for production environments.
- Conduct research to improve model accuracy, efficiency, and generalization capabilities.
- Optimize existing models for low latency and high throughput using techniques such as quantization and distillation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Science, Product Management, and Engineering) to define technical requirements and solution architectures.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in the AI field and integrate relevant technologies into our stack.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field (5+ years of industry experience may substitute).
- Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Deep understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Transformers, and LLM architectures.
- Experience with MLOps, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proven track record of shipping production-grade ML systems that handle millions of requests.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
