Responsibilities
- Model Architecture: Design and implement advanced generative AI models, including LLMs and diffusion models, optimized for production environments.
- Training Pipelines: Build scalable data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and evaluating large language models using modern frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Optimization: Conduct research on model compression, quantization, and inference optimization to reduce latency and costs.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Ethics & Safety: Implement guardrails and safety protocols to ensure AI outputs are fair, unbiased, and compliant with industry regulations.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and researchers in best practices for AI development and research methodologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning, or NLP, specifically with generative AI technologies.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with Hugging Face Transformers.
- Deployment: Strong experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Research: Proven track record of publishing research or contributing to open-source AI projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
