Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology foresight frameworks aligned with 2026 industry projections
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify, validate, and integrate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Develop competitive intelligence reports on disruptive startups and academic breakthroughs
- Design scenario-planning models for geopolitical, economic, and technological disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish innovation partnerships with leading research institutions and government initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of implementing future-focused initiatives with measurable ROI
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, space tech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology disruption preparedness
- Deep understanding of global innovation ecosystems and regulatory landscapes
