Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic shifts through 2026 and beyond
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight thinking into organizational decision-making
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder presentations on emerging opportunities and risks
- Build and maintain a proprietary trend intelligence database using advanced analytical tools
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-ready solutions and validate market readiness
- Author thought leadership publications and industry reports to establish organizational authority
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and presenting to executive audiences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
