Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 Technology Horizon Reports analyzing AI, quantum computing, biotech, and metaverse convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping solutions for 2026 market opportunities
- Design and execute strategic foresight frameworks to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready features into 3-year roadmaps
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry panels at global forums
- Build and mentor a futurist task force of domain experts across tech and humanities
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget through compelling ROI projections
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Published thought leadership on future trends (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts into market products
- Advanced degree in systems thinking, futurology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- C-suite influence with experience presenting complex future concepts to executives
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026-relevant projects in AI ethics, sustainable tech, or human augmentation
