As a thought leader, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research labs, and global think tanks to develop scenario-planning frameworks. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technology, sociology, and economics, with a proven ability to translate complex concepts into compelling narratives that drive organizational change.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Produce executive-ready reports and presentations translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain a network of global futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advise executive leadership on long-term risk mitigation and opportunity capture strategies
- Develop organizational foresight capabilities through training and knowledge-sharing programs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into successful business outcomes
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing, etc.) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Experience building and managing global networks of futurists and industry experts
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
