Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for AI integration, climate resilience, and human augmentation
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-state solutions in virtual and physical realms
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on emerging technological paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and their implications on long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented R&D
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience with data visualization tools for trend mapping
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent credential
