Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Produce high-impact trend reports on AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, and sustainable infrastructure
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging startups and disruptive technologies
- Design and maintain a 2026 innovation ecosystem including incubators and strategic alliances
- Present visionary strategies to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling narratives
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic indicators to anticipate systemic disruptions
- Establish KPIs to track the implementation of future-proofing initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2025+ societal or technological trends
- Mastery of scenario planning methodologies (e.g., STEEP-V, Delphi techniques)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on transformational strategy
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., CFrA preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into executable business plans
