Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future market disruptions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Quantify future scenarios through predictive modeling and scenario planning frameworks
- Advise product teams on future-proofing solutions for 2026+ market readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight journals
- Experience with predictive analytics tools and futures research software
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
