Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology foresight frameworks using predictive analytics and trend synthesis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces and autonomous systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation strategy with business objectives and market disruption
- Author thought leadership reports on quantum computing applications and AI governance for 2026
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with focus on sustainable tech and neuro-interfaces
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy roundtables on emerging tech ethics
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of Web3, metaverse architecture, and decentralized governance models
- Strong network within DARPA, IEEE Future Directions, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or MIT Technology Review
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R) and data visualization tools
