Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and risk assessment models
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-focused strategies into corporate planning and product roadmaps
- Deliver compelling executive briefings and stakeholder presentations on future market opportunities and threats
- Establish and manage cross-functional innovation labs to prototype solutions for anticipated future challenges
- Author thought leadership content including whitepapers and industry forecasts
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems through strategic partnerships with research institutions and think tanks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, Business Innovation, or related field (Master's required, PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies with measurable ROI
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies including weak signal detection and pattern recognition
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their market implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience engaging C-level audiences
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data visualization and scenario planning tools
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (portfolio required)
