Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight framework identifying disruptive trends in biotech, space tech, and neuro interfaces
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams to prototype breakthrough concepts
- Author high-impact scenario analyses and strategic white papers for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and national labs to accelerate applied research
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal skunkworks projects and pilot programs
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts in tech or aerospace sectors
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend impact analysis frameworks
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation or technology journals
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP, SFI) preferred
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
