Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for disruptive technologies (quantum, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and organizational goals
- Lead prototype development for next-gen solutions in sustainable tech and human augmentation
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify strategic investment opportunities
- Present technology forecasts to executive stakeholders and industry forums
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development methodologies for complex systems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent tier journals on emerging tech
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Track record of launching at least 3 commercialized tech innovations
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Strong network with DARPA, MIT Media Lab, or equivalent institutions
