Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and stakeholder objectives
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare for complex future states and black swan events
- Translate foresight research into executive presentations and investor-grade reports
- Manage a portfolio of emerging technology pilots and validate commercial viability
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Mentor junior futurists and champion foresight methodologies across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful business initiatives
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or biotech commercialization pathways
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation publications
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
