Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030+
- Develop evidence-based future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Conduct ethnographic research and trend analysis across AI, biotech, climate tech, and digital ecosystems
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with executive leadership teams
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and publish in industry journals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into enterprise strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend mapping, and causal layered analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published author in futures or innovation thought leadership
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPC, APF) preferred
