Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (2026-2030)
- Architect innovation roadmaps for quantum-secure AI and sustainable energy systems
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen human-computer interfaces
- Develop strategic frameworks for ethical AI deployment and digital sovereignty
- Present future scenarios to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ budgets
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record in scaling moonshot projects from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- PhD or equivalent in relevant technical field (preferred)
