This role combines strategic foresight with hands-on implementation to transform theoretical possibilities into tangible business advantages.
As a key member of our executive innovation council, you'll collaborate with C-suite leaders to identify disruptive technologies, anticipate market shifts, and develop proactive strategies that will shape our competitive position through 2026 and beyond. You'll lead cross-functional teams to prototype future-facing solutions while maintaining a pulse on global tech ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive innovation roadmap with 3-5 year strategic vision
- Facilitate executive workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Build and nurture an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Champion a culture of innovation across all organizational divisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional facilitation skills with executive audiences and cross-functional teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful innovation initiatives from concept to market
