Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 3-year strategic foresight framework for 2026, analyzing emerging technologies, socio-political shifts, and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future-facing challenges (e.g., AI ethics, climate tech adoption, decentralized systems)
- Produce high-impact scenario-planning reports and executive briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry consortia to shape future standards
- Drive internal culture transformation programs to embed future-thinking methodologies across all departments
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs and agile governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD strongly preferred)
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ trends (e.g., AGI governance, neurotech integration, space commercialization)
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or policy changes
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, Web3 infrastructure)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex scenarios into executive-ready narratives
