Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging trends, technologies, and disruptive forces impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop comprehensive scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making and long-term strategy
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market challenges
- Establish and maintain global networks of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate complex future insights into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Lead executive workshops and presentations on future trends and strategic implications
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, climate tech, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into coherent narratives
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism, innovation, or strategic foresight (articles, books, whitepapers)
- Strong proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Weak Signal Analysis
