Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative and qualitative foresight models predicting technology adoption curves and market disruptions through 2030
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives across finance, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
- Produce annual 'FutureScan' reports synthesizing AI, biotech, and climate impact trends with 85%+ accuracy
- Design proprietary forecasting algorithms using Python, TensorFlow, and proprietary datasets
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders with compelling data visualizations and narrative frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts while maintaining thought leadership through whitepapers and industry keynotes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Data Science, or related field with 5+ years of foresight/strategy experience
- Proven track record of developing predictive models for technology or market trends (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and causal inference methodologies
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight preferred
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executive insights
