Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework for emerging technology adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and validating disruptive market opportunities
- Produce horizon-scanning reports on quantum AI, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-vision into 24-month roadmaps
- Represent Horizon Labs at global innovation summits and policy forums
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological readiness and market viability
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption curves
- Deep knowledge of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or equivalent preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
