Responsibilities
- Develop and execute long-term technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions and regulatory landscapes
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR convergence) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating AI, IoT, and blockchain into scalable enterprise solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technological adoption and ROI of futuristic implementations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions with 3-5 year deployment horizons
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and anticipate their impact on organizational strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Expertise in at least two futuristic domains (e.g., quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or climate-tech)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 3+ year implementation cycles
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and AI governance
- Exceptional data modeling skills for predicting technology adoption curves
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Experience presenting to executive boards and investor forums
