Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for executive stakeholders on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry disruptors
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring teams and embedding future-thinking principles
- Monitor geopolitical, technological, and socioeconomic indicators to anticipate disruptions
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global forums on future trends and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario modeling, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-focused strategies
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar)
