Responsibilities
- Develop and publish the annual '2026 Horizons Report' analyzing disruptive technologies across AI, biotech, and sustainability sectors
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for systemic market shifts
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies with $50M+ R&D budgets
- Establish partnerships with leading academic labs and innovation hubs (MIT Media Lab, Singularity University)
- Present futures insights to global stakeholders at industry summits and policy forums
- Mentor a team of junior futurists using our proprietary 'Futurecasting' methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major industry publications
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience developing enterprise-level strategic roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
