Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and climate adaptation innovations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future market demands
- Produce foresight reports for executive stakeholders and industry thought leadership platforms
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proof principles into development lifecycles
- Monitor global regulatory trends in AI, biotech, and space commercialization
- Represent the company at futurist conferences and academic symposia
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (e.g., Nature, MIT Tech Review)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, SWOT 2.0)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on 5-10 year technological disruption
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Exceptional data visualization skills for complex future-state modeling
- Certification in Futures Research (AFS) or equivalent professional designation
