Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology foresight framework for 2026 and beyond
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to map future technological disruptions
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial implications
- Produce strategic whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and technology summits
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of predicting tech trends with documented case studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, nanotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience presenting at TED Talks, Davos, or equivalent high-impact forums
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
