Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify and validate breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop predictive models for societal, economic, and technological convergence points
- Architect strategic roadmaps for quantum-integrated systems and neuro-adjacent interfaces
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, policy, and ethics teams
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Establish industry-wide partnerships with MIT Media Lab, IEEE Future Directions, and similar entities
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 10+ years in tech foresight
- Published work in Nature Futures or peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Proven track record of predicting market-shifting technologies (e.g., blockchain, generative AI)
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI alignment
- Experience advising Fortune 100 CTOs on 5-10 year strategic planning
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, scenario planning, causal layered analysis
- Fluency in Python and R for trend modeling and simulation
