Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026 technology trends across AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Develop and maintain the company's 2026 technology foresight framework
- Translate emerging trends into actionable business strategies and innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and board members
- Mentor a team of futurists and researchers in foresight methodologies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and industry reports
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology research
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership in technology or futurism publications
