Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to inform 2026 strategic roadmap
- Develop and implement foresight methodologies including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, climate science, and quantum computing domains
- Produce high-impact strategic reports and visualizations for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and industry disruptors
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of anticipatory innovation
- Present findings to stakeholders and represent Horizon Dynamics at global foresight forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional analytical capabilities with data-driven decision-making skills
- Published thought leadership in foresight publications or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Strong presentation skills with executive-level communication expertise
