Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures primarily on AWS and Azure, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- Migration Strategy: Lead complex, multi-phase infrastructure migrations from on-premise or legacy environments to modern cloud-native setups, minimizing downtime and risk.
- Cost Optimization: Implement FinOps strategies to monitor and optimize cloud spending, ensuring maximum efficiency and resource utilization.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous security standards (SOC2, HIPAA) and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions to protect sensitive data.
- Automation & IaC: Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation) to automate provisioning and deployment processes.
- Talent Development: Mentor junior engineers and architects, conducting technical code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or software architecture, with at least 3 years in a Senior/Lead capacity.
- Cloud Mastery: Deep technical expertise in AWS (or Azure/GCP) services, including VPC, Load Balancing, Lambda, and serverless technologies.
- Containerization: Strong proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes orchestration (EKS/GKE) for managing containerized applications.
- Scripting & Tools: Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Ansible.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and driving technical innovation in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
