Responsibilities
- Architect and design the core infrastructure for Project 2026, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
- Lead the technical strategy for integrating quantum processing units (QPUs) with classical cloud environments.
- Collaborate with research scientists to translate theoretical models into deployable software solutions.
- Mentor a team of senior engineers and define engineering best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct rigorous performance testing and optimization to meet enterprise-grade latency requirements.
- Oversee the security posture of the Project 2026 ecosystem, implementing zero-trust architectures.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, with at least 3 years in leading high-scale distributed systems.
- Deep proficiency in Python, C++, Rust, and modern cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq) or similar advanced computing paradigms.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and message queues.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
