Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models, specifically focusing on Generative AI and NLP tasks.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT-4, Llama 3) and optimize inference speed and accuracy for production environments.
- MLOps Implementation: Build scalable MLOps pipelines to ensure reliable model deployment, monitoring, and retraining workflows.
- Research: Stay ahead of the curve by researching emerging techniques in reinforcement learning and multimodal AI.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and software engineers to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into consumer applications.
- Code Review: Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
Qualifications
- Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning or Deep Learning.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. Experience with Hugging Face Transformers is required.
- Infrastructure: Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex, unstructured problems and derive actionable insights from data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder presentations.
