Job Description
We are defining the future of intelligent systems. Nexus Horizon Labs is seeking a visionary Senior AI Engineer to spearhead our 2026 Roadmap. This is a rare opportunity to architect the foundational infrastructure that will power the next decade of generative AI and autonomous decision-making.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical research and production-grade engineering. You will be responsible for setting the technical vision for our flagship product launches in 2026, ensuring our models are not only state-of-the-art but scalable, secure, and ethically sound.
If you are obsessed with pushing the boundaries of what is possible in machine learning and thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Define the Technical Vision: Lead the architectural design and technical strategy for our 2026 product roadmap, focusing on LLMs, multi-agent systems, and predictive analytics.
- Build Scalable Infrastructure: Design and implement robust machine learning pipelines and data architectures capable of handling petabyte-scale data ingestion and real-time inference.
- Model Optimization: Work closely with research teams to fine-tune models for latency reduction, memory efficiency, and improved accuracy on edge devices.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and security experts to translate complex technical concepts into feasible product features.
- Mentorship & Culture: Foster a culture of innovation by mentoring junior engineers and conducting technical deep-dives to elevate the engineering team's standard of excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow; strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Kubernetes.
- Specialized Knowledge: Deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Transformers, and prompt engineering strategies.
- System Design: Proven track record of designing distributed systems and high-availability services.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the communication skills to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
