Responsibilities
- Architect and Deploy: Design, train, and deploy scalable machine learning models and neural networks for production environments using modern frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Model Optimization: Enhance model inference speed and reduce latency through techniques such as model quantization, distillation, and edge computing implementation.
- Research & Development: Stay at the forefront of AI research, experimenting with novel architectures and LLM (Large Language Model) fine-tuning strategies to drive product differentiation.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and engineers to define technical requirements and deliver high-impact features.
- Infrastructure: Manage the end-to-life cycle of ML pipelines, ensuring robust CI/CD practices, data governance, and monitoring for model performance and drift.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in machine learning, deep learning, or artificial intelligence engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java; deep knowledge of PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Cloud Proficiency: Strong experience deploying models on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using services like SageMaker, Vertex AI, or Sagemaker.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex algorithmic problems and optimize system performance under constraints.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
