Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the deployment of robust, fault-tolerant AI infrastructure and distributed computing systems.
- Model Optimization: Lead efforts in model quantization, pruning, and edge-device optimization to reduce latency and resource consumption.
- Research Integration: Translate novel research papers into production-ready code, ensuring the latest advancements in Deep Learning are utilized.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to define technical requirements and align AI capabilities with business goals.
- Risk Management: Identify potential biases in data and models, implementing strategies for fairness and explainability (XAI).
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is highly valued.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years focused on Machine Learning and AI systems.
- Technical Stack: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and CUDA. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and optimize performance at scale.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
