Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and oversee the implementation of complex, large-scale machine learning infrastructure capable of handling high-throughput data streams.
- R&D Strategy: Lead research initiatives focused on emerging AI trends (e.g., Multimodal AI, Reinforcement Learning) to prepare our systems for the 2026 market landscape.
- Model Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained models for specific use cases, ensuring high accuracy and low latency in real-world environments.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Scalability & Reliability: Ensure all AI systems are deployed on secure, scalable cloud environments (AWS/GCP) with robust monitoring and failover mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior architectural or lead role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of distributed computing systems.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven track record in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or Reinforcement Learning.
- Cloud Mastery: Experience designing and deploying AI workloads on major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Exceptional ability to solve ambiguous problems and make high-level architectural decisions under pressure.
